This is a hike that we have done before and were happy to do it once more. Beaver Lake was quite a bit busier than it had been the last time we were there and this hike was the same. Several trucks and cars in the parking lot and we didn’t have the solitude that we had experienced before. It was cloudy and a little rainy, but under the trees, we barely felt anything coming down.

We’ve only done two camping trips in Wisconsin, and camping at Beaver Lake was one of them. We went in the fall for a 3 day weekend, and hiked the Dome on a Monday with a storm coming in, and there was still a good bit of traffic. It’s a good hike. We got some great views just before the thunder cracked in the distance and a storm moved in. Then we were racing down the trail and back to our car before the downpour. Loved Beaver Lake–great little campground. I don’t remember the falls–beautiful photo.
